Nordic Insulation System

The energy consumption of Spas is one of the issues that most concerns us in the purchasing process. How much will our Spa consume? It mainly depends on the use we give it (how many times we bathe in our Spa) and the climatic conditions of the environment.

We cannot control the ambient temperature, but we can help reduce the impact that this temperature has on the Spa.

For this reason, we have designed the new, more insulating feature, NORDIC INSULATION SYSTEM .

What does this new system consist of?

The NORDIC INSULATION SYSTEM is made up of a 10mm insulating material that is made up of 5 layers. This layer of insulation is located on the sides and curves of the furniture itself, creating an insulating air chamber inside. The insulating layer that surrounds the entire furniture is a 10mm material that is made up of 5 layers:

• Aluminum.
• RC9 Bubble + Low Density Polyethylene (With a double layer).
• FONPEX Non-cross-linked Polyethylene foam (20kg/m3).
• RC9 Bubble + Low Density Polyethylene (With a double layer).
• Aluminum.

Will I reduce the consumption of my Spa with NORDIC INSULATION SYSTEM?

Yes. With this system, the energy consumption of the Spa is reduced. Thanks to the additional insulating layer, we achieve a thermal resistance (capacity of the material to oppose heat transmission) of approximately 40 m2.K/W, compared to the ECOSpa system.

These are the photos taken from the results of our test. In the two thermal photos taken, the efficiency of the ECOSpa system and the NORDIC INSULATION SYSTEM were compared.
