HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR MINI POOL

For a terrace or roof

Load capacity first: about 7,150 kg filled. If that is not possible, a hot tub for the terrace is much lighter.

Looking for a 2 × 2 m pool?

Our mini pools measure 4 × 2.3 m. For about 2 × 2 m, our square hot tubs are the answer.

For the garden

Freestanding with cabinet or built in; with the cover it can be used all year.

For indoors

It can also go inside: ventilation and floor under indoor swim spa.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR INSTALLATION

A base that takes the weight

Filled, 7,150 kg on about 9 m²: roughly 780 kg per m².

Have the structure checked

On a terrace or roof, have a structural engineer confirm it before buying.

Access for delivery

230 cm wide and 138 cm high: check the way through or lift it in with a crane.

A dedicated electrical circuit

3,400 W for the Sky, 7,000 W for the Compact Pool and Fitness, 230 V or 400 V.

A drain nearby

Makes emptying and changing the water easier.

MINI POOL, HOT TUB OR POOL?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What features does a high-end outdoor mini pool have?

A small pool combines a compact size with high durability, making it suitable for gardens, patios, or terraces. The mini pool models from Aquavia Spa are ideal in this segment: they feature heating, hydromassage jets, and reinforced structures to withstand outdoor weather conditions all year round, without requiring construction work.

Is there a 2 × 2 m mini pool?

Our mini pools measure 4 × 2.3 m, the most compact size with counter-current swimming. For a space of about 2 × 2 m, our square hot tubs are the right choice.

Can I install a mini pool on a terrace without construction?

Yes, many small above ground pools for terraces are designed as self-supporting structures, meaning they can be placed directly on a level base. Aquavia Spa delivers its mini pools ready to use, making them ideal for these spaces without the need for masonry or excavation work.

What should I consider when placing a mini pool on a rooftop?

The load capacity: filled, a 4-metre model weighs about 7,150 kg, roughly 780 kg per m². Have a structural engineer confirm it before buying, and check how it will be lifted up (usually by crane).

What are the benefits of an outdoor hydromassage mini pool?

An outdoor small swimming pool with hydromassage offers a complete spa experience in the open air. Aquavia Spa’s mini pools include adjustable massage jets, efficient heating, and weather-resistant structures, transforming your garden or terrace into a wellness space all year round.

Is it advisable to install an indoor mini pool at home?

Yes, in a wellness room or home gym, as long as the floor takes the weight (about 7,150 kg filled), the room has ventilation or a dehumidifier and there is a way in for a unit 230 cm wide. It needs a dedicated electrical circuit. More details under indoor swim spa.

What are the advantages of above ground mini pools compared to in-ground pools?

They are installed without excavation, on a firm base, and arrive with heating and filtration included. The paperwork is often simpler than for an in-ground pool, but check with your local council whether any permission is needed.

What options are there for modern and functional mini pools for gardens?

Today’s small pools for small backyards combine aesthetics, technology, and practicality. Aquavia Spa’s mini pools are perfect for small and medium gardens, with massage systems, counter-current swimming, and heating, offering an accessible luxury solution with minimal technical requirements.
