Mountain suites on La Gomera
a Spa Touch on every terrace
The suite opens up to the landscape: a spa sunk into the private terrace makes the mountains part of the stay, by day and by night.

inside the suite
On La Gomera the landscape is rugged and close. The aim was for guests to experience it from their own terrace, not just through the window.
Each suite in the hotel has a private outdoor space: a timber deck, a louvred pergola and views of the cliffs. A Spa Touch with a white shell was sunk into that space, flush with the floor. That way the spa adds no bulk in front of the view, and the terrace remains a place to sunbathe or have breakfast.
The Touch shell combines two seats with headrests and one lounger position in 216 × 166 cm. It is a format designed for one or two people, exactly how a suite is used. As evening falls, the spa lighting and the grazing light on the stone wall completely change the atmosphere.
The mountains are no longer just a view but become part of the stay itself: a private space that raises the standard of the accommodation and sets the hotel's offer apart.

The challenge
Suites with their own terrace facing the mountains, where the spa could neither block the landscape nor take up the whole deck.
The solution
A Spa Touch sunk flush with the deck, White shell, 42 water jets and UV treatment.
The result
A suite with private wellness, used by day with views and by night in warm light.
From day to night

Spa Touch in figures
For the architect: with 1,041 kg when full on 216 × 166 cm, the distributed load is about 290 kg/m² (without bathers). For a sunken installation it is ordered without a cabinet, and access to the equipment must be planned. More details on the Spa Touch product page and in the range of built-in spas.

The project in questions
Why a Spa Touch for each suite?
Size and use: 216 × 166 cm and three positions, two seated and one lounger, fit a private terrace designed for one or two people without taking space from the rest of the suite.
How is the spa sunk into the deck?
It is usually ordered without a cabinet and placed on a level base, and the deck is built around it, leaving an access hatch to reach the equipment. If you are considering a similar format, see the built-in spas.
What load does the terrace need to bear?
The Spa Touch weighs 1,041 kg when full, about 290 kg/m² over its footprint excluding bathers. That is the figure the architect needs to check the floor or slab of each suite.
Do you handle projects for several suites at once?
Yes. Through the Contract programme we prepare the technical documentation and terms for the whole project. You can see more cases in spas for hotels.
Do your suites have
their own terrace?
Tell us about the space and we will propose the spa, the technical data and the installation plan.
